Robinson House is the only group home in the state of Connecticut that caters to individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and experiencing mental health conditions, offering round-the-clock supervision, care, and housing services facilitated by Mental Health Connecticut.
MHC organizes community-building activities. Deaf Rec is a social club designed to bring adults who are Deaf from all walks of life together to engage in community-based, recreational activities, including visiting local museums, going bowling, eating at restaurants, and attending local fairs and festivals. Deaf Rec promotes community and peer engagement through participation in fun activities in the community.
Choices works with job seekers who have been identified as needing employment services and supports by matching them with employers offering employment for skilled and committed workers. In West Hartford, we specifically work with people seeking employment who are Deaf or hard of hearing. We offer training, placement, and ongoing support.
We provide flexible in-person and telehealth therapy, case management, and in-home support throughout the state of Connecticut for individuals with and without insurance.
