Farmington, Connecticut, August 8, 2025 – Mental Health Connecticut (MHC) has been named a 2025 Top Workplaces Nonprofit Industry Award winner by Energage, a purpose-driven organization that helps companies build and brand people-first workplace cultures. This national recognition celebrates MHC as a leading employer in the nonprofit sector. This is MHC’s third Top Workplaces award this year, following our 2025 recognition from USA Today and the Hartford Courant.
The Top Workplaces Industry awards honor organizations that foster exceptional workplace environments within their respective fields. Winners are selected based solely on employee feedback gathered through a confidential, research-backed engagement survey conducted by Energage.
Now in its 17th year, the Top Workplaces program evaluates organizations across 60 regional markets and multiple industries. This recognition highlights MHC’s ongoing commitment to cultivating a culture where staff feel supported, empowered, and connected to the organization’s mission.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Eric Rubino, Energage CEO. “That’s something to be proud of. In today’s market, leaders must ensure they’re allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That’s paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
