#31DaysofWellness
At MHC we know the importance of caring for one’s mental health each and every day, so for Mental Health Awareness Month, we won’t let one day go by without sharing our knowledge and expertise. This year we will celebrate #31DaysOfWellness, sponsored by ConnectiCare, with the theme of #31Tools2Thrive. Like Mental Health America’s #Tools2Thrive campaign, we are breaking out our toolkits and highlighting our favorite self-care tools that can help you create resiliency and support wellness.

Our goal for #31DaysofWellness is to help individuals across CT to build their personalized self-care toolkits. Every day in May will feature a new and unique tool like Mental Health First Aid, Journaling, Reading, Nutrition, and Visual Arts. Visit our Blog for daily posts on each tool. As we build our toolkits we ask that you help us build our facility reserves by fundraising for the MHC@Home Fund.

MHC@Home Fund
Evidence shows that a safe, welcoming home is essential to the recovery process and for long-term health and wellness. As a CARF Accredited organization, MHC sets and maintains high standards of care for the appearance, function, and warmth of our residential facilities. MHC’s facilities are also our second highest expense.

The MHC@Home Fund supports structural repairs or improvements that lie outside the scope of our state-funded contracts. A donation to the MHC@Home Fund is an investment in the safe and welcoming environments for those we serve and it’s an investment in our future.

Our friends and long-time partners at ConnectiCare wanted to do something special to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month and support MHC. We are honored to have them as our “Double the Impact” Toolkit Sponsor for #31DaysofWellness.

With this exclusive sponsorship, ConnectiCare has pledged to match our total campaign goal of $31,000, doubling the impact for our residential programs across the state. We need to reach our goal by May 31 to receive the matching funds, which means we need your help!

Join us by setting up a fundraising page or making a donation today by clicking the below button to help us reach our goal!

With this amazing pledge, we have the ability to speed up our timeline for what the MHC@Home Fund can do for our facilities across the state. With your help, we can double the impact on the home, safety, and comfort of our residential program participants.
