“We know what we are, but know not what we may be”
Shortly thereafter, she became a Program Manager for our Bridgeport program: overseeing the Residential Staff.
In 1998, Remi moved into position of Director in Bridgeport, with the charge of overseeing the daily operation of our Residential program, issuing quality customer service, managing budgets, and creating new and innovative housing opportunities. During this time, Remi was actively involved in larger service systems activities, holding both Catchment Area Co-Chair and Vice Presidency positions with the Regional Mental Health Board.
Remi has now held the Vice Presidency of Mental Health CT position for over five years. She continues to bring her enthusiasm and passion for this work into this position: supervising the Directors of each of our programs, creating new services, supporting all agency functions, assuring accreditations, and launching training initiatives.
Prior to joining our organization, Remi was a Marriage and Family Therapist. She holds a Bachelor degree in Psychology from Montclair State College and earned her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University.
Go Back to Leadership
We would like to thank everyone who supports Mental Health Connecticut. Without your generosity, we would not have been able to assist our clients in their recovery, advocate at the state and national levels for mental health equity in our health care laws, and provide information and referrals to the thousands of people who call us seeking help. We are truly grateful for your support
Our administrative office is located at 61 South Main Street in West Hartford, CT.
